Scented Pearl Candle Wax for Suspended & Lamp Candles

Pearl candle wax is the granule grade behind suspended and lamp-style candles — the pearl candles that hang inside a lamp, sit bedded in a bowl, or fill a holder as a loose, decorated surface rather than a poured block. POSISION supplies it scented and by weight from our own plant in Henan, China, for wedding, event and hospitality programmes where the candle is part of the table setting. It is the same plant-wax granule family as our sand wax line, taken in a different direction: scented, and specified around the holder rather than around a vase.

What is a suspended pearl candle?

A suspended pearl candle is a display format, not a wick-and-pool candle. The pearls are the visible fill: they sit inside a holder, a lamp frame or a bowl, held in place as loose granules, and they keep that arrangement instead of melting down into a flat pool. That is what makes the format work for table centres — the surface the guests see stays exactly as it was styled.

The practical consequence for a buyer is that the wax is bought by weight and the holder is the design decision. You choose the vessel, we supply the granule that fills it, and the two are specified together so the fill depth, the pearl size and the colour match the piece you are selling. Because the pearls are poured rather than melted, the format also skips the pouring line, the wick tab and the cool-down time that a poured candle needs.

Why does the format suit weddings, events and hospitality?

Event work buys appearance and repeatability, and this format delivers both in the same unit.

• It is styled, not manufactured, on site. A venue or planner can build, top up or re-colour a display by hand, which is what you want when a setup changes between events.
• It survives the evening. Loose granules do not slump or tunnel the way a poured candle can, so the display looks the same at the end of the night as at the start.
• It re-uses the holder. Once the pearls are spent, the container is refilled rather than replaced, which is the same refill logic that makes the vase format work in retail.
• It scales in one direction. Because the material is bought by weight, a larger centrepiece or a longer table run is a quantity change, not a new mould or a new SKU.

For importers and rental businesses, that last point is usually the deciding one. One granule specification covers a whole season of displays, and the variation lives in the containers rather than in the wax.

Where does pearl wax sit between sand wax and jelly wax?

The three formats are often confused, because all three can be displayed in glass. They are not interchangeable:

How is pearl wax scented?

Fragrance is added to the granule, so the scent travels with the fill rather than sitting on top of it, and the pearls can be supplied scented to your brief. Send a scent profile, a reference fragrance or a sample of the scent you want to match, and we work the fragrance into the granule before the bulk run.

Treat scent as part of the pre-production sample, not as an afterthought. Pearl wax is a display material with a large exposed surface, so how a fragrance reads in the granule is a different question from how the same fragrance reads in a poured candle. Approve the scented pre-production sample and that is what the production run is matched against.

What should go in the RFQ?

Give us the four things that decide the quote: the holder or lamp you are filling and its fill volume, the colour you need, the scent you are specifying, and your volume for the season. If you are running several event designs, list them together — one granule specification can carry the whole programme, and quoting it as one job is cheaper than quoting it piece by piece.

If the display is being sold as a retail unit rather than used at events, say so. Packaging, labelling and the instruction card change the job, and they are part of the same order.

How do MOQ, samples and ordering work?

MOQ is set per project and quoted against your volume, and this line is supplied by weight so a seasonal programme is quoted in the unit you actually buy. Free samples ship with the COA of their batch, so you can test the granule in your own holder before committing. Scented orders move through a pre-production sample that you approve before the bulk run.
